Open PMVA Course Centres & Schedule
This 3-day Induction and 2-day refresher courses are certified curriculars delivered by PMVA Associates – Bild – Association of Certified Training (bildact.org.uk)
The course is suitable for new and returning staff who will be working in the NHS or Private Healthcare Organisation where they are expected to Assess, Identify, Prevent and Manage behaviours that challenge, including aggression and violence.
These courses are bespoke, has been setup to meet the needs of staff (Agency or Bank) who will be working across different services on a short- or long-term contract.
Refresher Courses (2 Days)
Please note, when booking refresher courses, we need to see evidence of your previously completed PMVA Training, the training must be compliant with requirements of the RRN Standards.

PMVA Training
We are one of 4 exclusive organisation that provides certificated PMVA training under the auspices of PMVA Associates. Our Lead consultant and Director is a founding member of PMVA Associates and one of the directors and senior trainers.
PMVA Associates (PMVAA) is a CERTIFIED ORGANISATION, having met all the RRN Training Standards requirements through the Bild Association of Certified Training Scheme, see certification here.
Certified training that complies with the Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) Training Standards became a requirement of NHS commissioned services for people with learning disability, autism or mental health condition in April 2020. The Care Quality Commission will expect services across health and social care to have certified training that complies with these Standards from April 2021.
